This past Saturday, we hosted our 4th Annual Holiday Open House, and what an amazing time we had!  Wine was tasted, delicious holiday treats were enjoyed, and holiday shopping was kicked off in a major way.  It was wonderful to see our Home Chic friends, old and new.  And did we mention the giveaways?  Our drawing included a grand prize of 1 set (of four) 24k gold Calling Birds Dessert Plates along with a $10 Home Chic  Gift Card.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes were also awarded in Home Chic Gift Card increments of $25, $20, and $15, respectively.

Holiday Open House!

We’ve been very busy these past couple of weeks as our Annual Holiday Open House draws near.  Decorating, unpacking boxes…more decorating…the holiday season has officially arrived in Mayville!  This Saturday, November 20th, Noble Winery will be joining us for our 4th Annual Holiday Open House.  We love the wonderful people at Noble Winery - not only because they craft some delicious local wines - but because they are so NICE!  Santa will definitely be good to them this year. 

Did we mention that everything in the store will be marked 15% off?  What a great way to stock up on some unique & wonderful gifts for the favorites on your list!  In addition to wine-tasting & store-wide discounts, we’ll also be showcasing some fun and easy DIY decorating ideas while serving some tasty holiday treats.  Oh, and giveaways!  We always have giveaways.  (Really good ones, too.)

Let Me Introduce Myself…

This is a very exciting time for Home Chic as we slowly dip our toe into new (for us), somewhat overwhelming, but completely thrilling online waters.  A goal of ours for quite some time, we have finally introduced the online version of our Home Chic storefront, www.homechicstore.com, to the world.  The response so far?  Very positive.  And for that, we couldn’t be more grateful.

For those of you who are regulars to the store, thank you for all of the wonderful support and fun conversations over the past year and a half!  Of course, if you fit into this category, then you probably already know me. 

For those who have never been into the store, my name is Kristie, and I opened Home Chic with the goal of offering fresh & hip home decor; decor that represents unique personalities, passions, and lives.  I hope that Home Chic captures that sense of individuality with the products that we offer.  However, more importantly than that, is my hope that Home Chic becomes a place for inspiration, relaxation, problem-solving, or just plain fun.

Home Chic Launches Website to Family & Friends

On March 26th, 2009, Home Chic officially launched its website to family and friends for a first phase of testing.  Stay tuned…
