Order Confirmation
Your order will be placed once credit card information has been approved and verified.  Inconsistent data and billing information may delay your order. Certain orders may require special processing due to limited quantities on particular items.  Home Chic will notify customers who have placed orders of these "out of stock" items.  While most items will ship within 3 business days, some items may have longer lead times, including custom order items, which may take up to 10 weeks.  We strive to indicate product availability and shipping times as accurately as possible, but should you have further questions regarding availability or lead times, please contact us directly.

How and Where Do You Ship?
Currently, Home Chic ships to the United States only, and deliveries are made to the 48 contiguous states using Fed Ex.  You may select your shipping method and delivery timeframe of choice during the checkout process.  For some larger items, delivery may not be available.  These items may be purchased and picked up in-store only.  We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.  You must provide a street address.  To ensure the best delivery possible of your Home Chic items, we will insure the items and require a signature upon delivery.  For additional special shipping requests, please contact us directly.

Will I Be Taxed?
Home Chic is required by law to charge tax on orders shipped to New York state addresses, which is calculated and itemized during the online ordering process.  No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to addresses in other states.

Home Chic utilizes the latest technology for shopping and ecommerce security.  This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  All orders are transmitted over secure internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology.  To ensure that your connection is secure, locate an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser).  This identifies that the SSL is active and the site is secure.  You can also double-check by looking at the web address (URL).  When switching to a secure site, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."

Return Policy
We want you to love what you've purchased from Home Chic.  For this reason, we offer a 14-day exchange policy on any item that you are not satisfied with.  Before returning an item, please contact Home Chic to obtain return instructions. Items must be unused, unassembled, in original packaging, with all instructions and packaging materials included.  Item must also be returned with original receipt.  You may receive a refund, replacement or online store credit. 

Damages
While we take exceptional care in the packaging and shipping of your item, damages may occur in transit.  If damage is visible upon delivery, please reject the shipment, make sure that the driver notes the damage, and contact Home Chic as soon as possible.  We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.  Upon receipt, please carefully inspect your item and report any damages to Home Chic within 3 days.  We will not be able to accept returns of damaged items if not reported within 3 days.  If we shipped you an item that was wrong or damaged, we will issue a call tag or refund your prepaid shipping charge.  Otherwise, all returns must be returned pre-paid.  Any item purchased on sale is not returnable under any circumstance.

Items purchased in the store must be returned back to the store.  Items purchased online may be returned to the store, if within guidelines as stated above, and if accompanied by the original sales receipt.
